Former Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos<\/strong> <\/a>and fianc\u00e9 Chock Chapple<\/strong><\/a> are soaking up some quality time together after spending more than a month apart.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are back in New York because it\u2019s our fun place that we get to go,\u201d Vassos, 62, said via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, October 4. \u201cWe haven\u2019t seen each other in over a month. We did this twice this summer. It\u2019s disturbing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vassos shared that Chapple, 62, came up with the idea to spend time in New York which included seeing a billboard of Mel Owens<\/strong> for season 2 of The Golden Bachelor.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cA guy that was sitting there goes, \u2018Is that you?\u2019 No, no,\u201d Chapple recalled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos and her fianc\u00e9, Chock Chapple, are still narrowing down a date for their upcoming nuptials. When asked by a user during an Instagram Story Q&A when the couple were planning to tie the knot, Chock, 61, replied, \u201cWe get asked all the time.\u201d \u201cSomebody today at lunch said, \u2019[20]25?\u2019\u201d Chock [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Vassos and Chapple met on The Golden Bachelorette<\/em> season 1 in 2024, where she ultimately accepted his proposal.<\/a> After the show, the couple exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> that they were splitting their time between their hometowns in Maryland and Kansas while also apartment hunting<\/a> in New York City.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis first year, obviously, we have to kind of figure out life. Chock has a business in Kansas. I have kids and grandkids and Maryland. I\u2019m not leaving Maryland, but he does have obligations in Kansas,\u201d Vassos told Us<\/em> in November 2024. \u201cWe know that we\u2019re gonna spend time in Maryland and in Kansas, but then we have this really fun plan because both of us have always dreamed \u2014 and we\u2019re finally at this weird stage in life for making this dream come true \u2014 that we live in a big city, and, specifically, we\u2019ve always wanted to live in New York. So Chock surprised me and said, \u2018I want us to go find a place.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The next year, Vassos shared that she and Chapple don\u2019t feel in a rush<\/a> to live together.<\/p>\n
