Prince William<\/a>, 43, made a rare pop culture stop at Bad Wolf Studios in Cardiff, Wales, ahead of his appearance at the BAFTA Cymru awards, and he stepped into one of Great Britain’s most iconic sets! The royal got to see where Doctor Who is made, and even went inside the legendary TARDIS – it really was bigger on the inside!<\/p>\n “It was a pleasure to spend time at Bad Wolf Studios Wales in Cardiff,” Prince William wrote beside a video of the visit<\/a>, which occurred on Sept. 10, on his Instagram account. There, he met “trainees supported by\u00a0@bafta<\/a>\u2019s Prince of Wales Bursary and Screen Alliance Wales,” and explored “the sets of The Other Bennet Sister and Doctor Who” before “joining St Albans R.C. Primary School for a classroom puppetry workshop.”<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a complete joy to show Prince William around Bad Wolf,” Jane Tranter, the studio\u2019s chief executive, toldTelegraph<\/a> about the visit. “For Prince William to help highlight the work being done at the studios means a great deal… He was introduced to trainees from a wide range of departments, and it was fantastic to see him take such an interest in the new generation of TV creatives.”<\/p>\n Fans of the iconic TV show were thrilled to see the royal roaming around in the TARDIS – a time-machine-slash-spaceship used by the Doctor in the series, which looks like a regular police call box from the outside, but has seemingly endless space on the inside.
