The sketch kicked off<\/a> at Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth<\/a>\u2019s big military meeting in Quantico last week, where a rowdy Colin Jost<\/a> lectured America\u2019s top generals about his plan to impose new heath and weight standards across the armed forces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cOur military will now have the same rules as any good frat party,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It wasn\u2019t long before the show\u2019s resident Trump impersonator, James Austin Johnson<\/a>, popped in to warn the world about what Jost called the \u201cgreatest threat to freedom and democracy the world has ever known\u201d \u2014 late night television.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cI\u2019m just here keeping my eye on \u2018SNL<\/a>,\u2019 making sure they don\u2019t do anything too mean about me, and they better be careful because I know late night like the back of my hand,\u201d he smirked, flashing a splotchy, makeup masked hand just like Trump has been recently rocking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNot looking great right now,\u201d Johnson winced, then hiding his hand and saying, \u201cDon\u2019t look at it. Gonna cover this up for the rest of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Later riffing about how \u201cSNL\u201d should have called it a day after its 50th season ended back in May, the Trump impersonator said, it was \u201cso sad to see something get old and confused and still demand your constant attention.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Johnson later alluded to rumors the president may have had a serious health crisis around Labor Day weekend, as he told viewers, \u201cI had a great summer, took a little vacation time for golf and travel and stroke. Kidding! Or not. Either way, you\u2019ll never know.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He advised the cast and crew of \u201cSNL\u201d to be on their \u201cbest behavior\u201d or they could face the same retribution as ABC\u2019s Jimmy Kimmel or CBS\u2019 Stephen Colbert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cRemember: Daddy\u2019s watching,\u201d Johnson signed off with a smirk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
