Dame Dash<\/a> is speaking out amid ongoing speculation about why Jay-Z<\/a> hasn’t financially supported him, despite their long history in the music industry.<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Cam Capone News<\/em>, Dash addressed comments from Tony Yayo suggesting Jay doesn’t look out for his artists like 50 Cent does. The question was in response to Memphis Bleek addressing the same question during a visit to <\/a>Drink Champs<\/em><\/a> and stating Jay never had to worry about him financially.<\/p>\n “Homeboy is cold. I really don’t mind. And I’m flattered. As long as I’m in the algorithm, I’m good. Cause you know, again, I want people to think I’m weak. I really do.”<\/p>\n He added, “Y’all be seeing my life. It’s so much better than yours. So, how could you keep feeling sorry for me? And that’s what I don’t understand. People will see me live better than them by 10, 20, and still feel sorry for me, but they live in a little ass apartment that’s rented, you know? Like they live terrible. They work every day. But I’m sitting here relaxing with my family office doing things that are creative.”<\/p>\n The entrepreneur also emphasized that he operates independently and without debt and said people are looking at someone who is not under the control of people giving out money.<\/p>\n “If you have debt, you are controlled.
