Taylor Swift<\/a> took to Instagram on Sunday to share behind-the-scenes photos from her latest music video for the song The Fate of Ophelia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old singer \u2014 whose 12th album The Life of A Showgirl <\/a>came out on Friday \u2014 looked more glamorous than ever in over-the-top costumes including a cranberry-red corset and opera gloves.<\/p>\n

She was dripping in diamonds and her hair was styled in a platinum-blonde bob with coiffed curls.<\/p>\n

Taylor captioned the post, ‘Writing, rehearsing, directing and shooting the music video for \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d was the thrill of a lifetime because I got to be reunited with my Eras Tour family!!’<\/p>\n

The note continued, ‘I wanted each one-take scene to feel like a live performance and remind us all of how it felt to be at those shows together. Making every moment count.’<\/p>\n

It comes after the song was streamed 30.9 million times on Spotify<\/a> in its first 24 hours, according to Hits<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A nautical inspired scene showed the pop star center stage in a 50s-era blue swimsuit with a matching sparkly swim cap and coordinating boa.<\/p>\n

Her backup dancers were identically dressed and used ring buoys as props.<\/p>\n

And Taylor channeled the\u00a0William Shakespeare character Ophelia in another part of the visual.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a whole, the singer-songwriter’s new album tallied 250 million global Spotify streams during its first day on the platform.<\/p>\n

It holds the second-most number of streams ever achieved by an album in one day, and is bested by her previous release,\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department.<\/p>\n

The initial 16-track version of TTPD had 233 million first-day streams, and the deluxe edition added another 81 million to reach a total of 314 million, per Hits.<\/p>\n

The Fate of Ophelia music video premiered in Taylor’s two-day movie event, titled The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n

According to Variety, the movie is expected to triumph over the weekend box office following its $15.8 million earnings on Friday from 3,702 locations.<\/p>\n

On Saturday the longtime entertainer surprised her devoted Swifties fanbase with four limited edition versions of her latest album.<\/p>\n

Following Friday’s release, she took to social media to announce the special editions.<\/p>\n

Taylor wrote, ‘File this under \u201csave your best for the finale\u201d\u2026’<\/p>\n

She added, ‘I think my favorite moments from the tour were the acoustic surprises. So I went back into the studio with Max and Shellback to record acoustic\/unplugged versions of a few of the Showgirl songs with brand new vocals and production!’<\/p>\n

And she noted elsewhere, ‘Four limited CD releases each including two acoustic bonus tracks on my site now for 24 hours while supplies last.’<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
