Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s new \u201cShowgirl\u201d special dominated the box office this weekend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter\u2019s film, \u201cTaylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,\u201d brought in a whopping $33 million domestically and $13 million overseas during its three-day showing, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n By contrast, Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson\u2019s \u201cThe Smashing Machine,\u201d an A24 drama about MMA fighter Mark Kerr that released in 3,345 theaters on Friday, brought in an estimated $6 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift\u2019s film is roughly 90 minutes long and features music videos, lyric videos and behind-the-scenes footage, AMC\u2019s website<\/a> said.
