Matthew McConaughey<\/a> has revealed that he and Woody Harrelson<\/a> might return to True Detective<\/a> if the right story comes along.<\/p>\n

The actor said that both he and Harrelson have talked about the possibility of revisiting their original characters, Rust Cohle and Marty Hart<\/a>, who became fan favorites in the show\u2019s first season.<\/p>\n

Speaking with NME<\/a>, McConaughey shared that series creator Nic Pizzolatto<\/a> has already brought up the idea of a reunion.<\/p>\n

However, McConaughey made it clear that nothing is certain yet. \u201cThere\u2019s excitement, yes, but I haven\u2019t seen a script yet,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I [originally] read True Detective<\/a>, everything that came out of Rust Cohle\u2019s mouth was white-hot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
