Actress and comedian Amy Schumer<\/strong> revealed her dramatic weight loss on social media this weekend.<\/p>\n The I Feel Pretty star, 44, headed to Las Vegas for a girls’ trip with film producer Alex Saks <\/strong>and Brittany Runs a Marathon star Jillian Bell<\/strong>, and revealed her significant weight loss in a chic dress and heels. In between hitting up The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere and the Paul McCartney<\/strong> concert, the trio snapped a chic photo of themselves that made it clear Schumer had slimmed down.<\/p>\n From the comments, it was clear that Schumer’s friends were big fans of her look, with everyone from Lee Daniels<\/strong> to Chelsea Handler<\/strong> chiming in with compliments.<\/p>\n “You look incredible. Back in 2023, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen\u00a0and revealed that while she tried using Wegovy several years ago, the side effects were horrific. She became devastatingly ill as a result. Schumer told Cohen the drug made her \u201cso sick\u201d that she couldn\u2019t even play with her\u00a0son and had to ditch the medication.<\/p>\n \u201cLike, a year ago, I tried it. I was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn\u2019t play with my son. I was so skinny, and he\u2019s throwing a ball at me and [I couldn\u2019t],\u201d she shared<\/a>.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Schumer said she’s been having a “really good experience” with a different drug called Mounjaro.<\/p>\n “My symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared. My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy. I want to ‘get down’ more, if you know what I mean,” Schumer shared in a video taken while sitting in her car. “I’m talking about sex.”<\/p>\n Schumer has been through a lot of ups and downs with her health over the last few years. Back in August, she underwent spinal surgery. She revealed the news after sharing a photo of herself using a walker. Dressed in a pink sweatshirt and purple sweatpants with her hair back in a messy ponytail, the comedian smiled for the camera as she inched down the hallway.<\/p>\n “Since my surfing injury back in the day my L5 has been killing me. Today I got a laminectomy! It\u2019s a short recovery and when I\u2019m feeling better I will buy a bra!\u201d she captioned the post.<\/p>\n A laminectomy is a surgical procedure to relieve pressure on your nerves by removing the arched back piece of your vertebrae, according to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>.
