Amy Duggar King<\/strong><\/a> and her husband, Dillon King<\/strong>, are still searching for answers about his health<\/a> following recent medical concerns.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe found out that he was in a lot of pain, like, a ton of pain, to the point where he was just sitting down,\u201d Amy, 38, revealed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> before releasing her memoir, Holy Disruptor: Shattering the Shiny Facade by Getting Louder With the Truth<\/em>. \u201cHe couldn\u2019t golf. He couldn\u2019t do a lot of things that he loved for a while.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple, who have been married since 2015, saw \u201cdoctor after doctor after doctor,\u201d and after \u201cseveral tests,\u201d they learned Dillon has celiac disease.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been poisoning him for 10 years straight [with] pastries and bread and pizza and all the things,\u201d Amy teased. \u201cMeanwhile, the acid was, like, burning through his intestines.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAmy Duggar King lives a quieter life compared to her reality TV days. Amy, 38, is the sole daughter of Jim Bob Duggar\u2019s sister, Deanna Duggar, and Terry Jordan. She was featured on 19 Kids and Counting alongside her cousins when the show premiered in 2008. Throughout her time on the TLC series, Amy \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dillon\u2019s symptoms are so \u201csevere\u201d that they caused a \u201crupture in his diaphragm.\u201d According to Amy, the pair have taken steps to keep the pain at bay.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve changed his diet, clearly, I\u2019m done with all the things, and he\u2019s doing a lot better,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cHe\u2019s not in as much pain. He\u2019s doing a lot better, but it is something we\u2019re still monitoring and trying to figure out the next steps, because more than likely he will need surgery at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amy previously revealed Dillon\u2019s health battle<\/a> while celebrating his birthday in April. \u201cY\u2019all I adore this man! Dax has the best dad on the planet and he\u2019s so loved by so many family and friends!\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time. \u201cNormally we\u2019d be celebrating in a huge way but currently we are facing some possible life threatening medical concerns. Today I\u2019d like to ask for some prayers on his behalf. I know God has him, but we welcome the prayers!! I can\u2019t think of a better gift for him!\u201d<\/p>\n

The 19 Kids and Counting<\/em> alum<\/a> reassured her husband in the caption that the two of them \u201ccan get through anything together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that month, Amy explained that the diaphragmatic rupture \u201chas caused vital organs, including his kidney and parts of his digestive system, to shift into his chest cavity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s still functioning, still human, still alive,\u201d Amy clarified to Us<\/em>. \u201cBut we\u2019re monitoring it and just making sure that he is going to be OK and healthy. But I mean, we don\u2019t have a lot of answers as of right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amy pointed out, however, that Dillon is \u201cnot in as much pain \u2026 so it\u2019s a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
