Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> got the ultimate Swiftie surprise.<\/p>\n Upon receiving her copy of Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2018s new album<\/a>, The Life of a Showgirl, Bush Hager also got a handwritten note from the pop star herself. \u201cWe all in\u2013living like showgirls in our house!!\u201d Bush Hager captioned an Instagram Story photo of the message on Sunday, October 5.<\/p>\n Swift\u2019s note, dated 2025, read, \u201cWell hi! If you\u2019re reading this, you\u2019re someone who has shown love, someone I admire, and ultimately someone I\u2019d want to celebrate with as we welcome The Life of a Showgirl into the world. I hope you like these gifts and record! With Love, a showgirl named Taylor.\u201d<\/p>\n Today<\/a> fans know that Bush Hager is a big fan of Swift\u2019s music. She even attended Swift\u2019s Eras Tour twice, the first time in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with her husband, Henry Hager, and her daughters, Mila, 12, and Poppy, 10. (The couple also share son Hal, 6.)<\/p>\n \u201cIt was so much fun,\u201d Bush Hager said on a May 2023 episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, per People<\/a>. \u201cWe listened to the playlist [before] so the girls could sing almost every word. \u2026 We danced like crazy. It was Poppy\u2019s first concert. .. Thank you for letting me do this.\u2019 And also, every part of her was there, dancing and singing. I mean, the next night she played for three and a half hours in the rain!\u201d<\/p>\n Hal joined his mom and sisters when they attended the Eras Tour for a second time in Miami, Florida. Joining the group were Bush Hager\u2019s Today colleagues, Savannah Guthrie<\/a> and Hoda Kotb<\/a>, and their children.<\/p>\n \u201cSWIFTIES!!!\u201d Kotb captioned Instagram<\/a> pics from the fun night out in October 2024. Guthrie shared her own Instagram<\/a> clip of herself and Bush Hager singing along to Swift\u2019s \u201cAll Too Well (10 Minute Version).\u201d<\/p>\n Upon returning<\/a> from her weeks-long vacation on the September 2 episode<\/a> of Today With Jenna & Friends, Bush Hager recalled learning of Swift and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2018s engagement<\/a> while on vacation in Italy with her family.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen it happened, I got so many texts \u2014 including from Talia [Parkinson-Jones], who works with us \u2014 where I was like, \u2018Has something bad happened? Why did I just get a million texts?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, Taylor and Trav,\u2019\u201d Bush Hager joked, adding that her kids threw an \u201cengagement party\u201d for the celebrity couple.<\/p>\n Bush Hager also missed out on discussing The Life of a Showgirl on the day of its release, as the Friday, October 3, episode<\/a> of Jenna & Friends was prerecorded. \u201cI have downloaded everything. We\u2019ll give you our whole review on Monday,\u201d she said on the show.<\/p>\n Bush Hager went on to share some of her Swiftie preferences, telling her guest host Justin Sylvester<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019ve loved every iteration of her.
