Before Ayesha Alexander became Ayesha Curry, she had no plans of becoming a wife and mother, she confessed during a now-viral interview.<\/p>\n
She appeared on the Call Her Daddy <\/a>podcast back in August and opened up about her \u201clife before [her] life.\u201d The 36-year-old admitted, \u201cI didn\u2019t want kids<\/a>. I didn\u2019t want to get married. I thought I was gonna be a career girl and that\u2019s it and then it happened so early in my life. I didn\u2019t even have time to think about what I wanted anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n Ayesha married her first love, NBA star Steph Curry, at the tender age of 22. \u201cI was naive, very young, unpolished 22-year-old. Like I didn\u2019t have much life experience,\u201d she shared. Within a few months of being a newlywed, she found out she was pregnant. \u201cIt was not on my bingo card,\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n Now, as a mother of four<\/a>, Ayesha has no regrets about the trajectory of her life. She also credited her resilience to being a young mom<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, fans who recently caught wind of Ayesha\u2019s stance, went off on the multifaceted businesswoman<\/a> across several Instagram posts.<\/p>\n One comment read, \u201cStop embarrassing your man to the world and go speak with a mental health professional for the sake of your family.\u201d Another person wrote, \u201cShout out to Steph for giving you the life you could never achieve on your own.\u201d<\/p>\n There were others who defended Ayesha<\/a> and praised their relationship<\/a>. \u201cThis is longevity. Block out the noise Ayesha, keep being you!,\u201d one user replied. Someone else commented, \u201cIf \u2018We good over here\u2019 were people!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n Neither Ayesha nor Steph has directly addressed the backlash, but instead have continued to let their love speak for itself.
