A cake that is reportedly a sweet favorite holiday gift for Tom Cruise to send his friends, could cause some people to suffer an allergic reaction.<\/p>\n
On Oct. 1, Doan\u2019s Bakery of Woodland Hills, California, recalled two of its cakes that are sold on Goldbelly<\/a> because they may contain wheat and milk – two known allergens – that are not listed as ingredients on the label.<\/p>\n The White Chocolate Coconut Cake and Carrot Cake were sold by Doan\u2019s Bakery<\/a> nationwide via Goldbelly from June 1 through Sept. 24.<\/p>\n The White Chocolate Coconut Cake in the past has been sent by Cruise as a holiday gift to his friends and family, according to Spectrum News.<\/a><\/p>\n On Goldbelly, Doan\u2019s calls itself \u201cLA\u2019s Legendary Bakery to the Stars.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a coveted gift each year among Hollywood\u2019s A-List celebs officially known as Doan\u2019s White Chocolate Coconut Cake, it\u2019s a personal favorite of one famous actor, so much so that he sends it to friends and family nationwide each holiday season.<\/p>\n \u201cRecipients include Barbara Walters, Jimmy Fallon, Cobie Smulders, Kirsten Dunst, Henry Cavill, James Corden, Angela Bassett, and plenty more.\u201d<\/p>\n According to an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recalled White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake is 3 pounds, 12 ounces, and contains wheat, soy, milk and eggs.<\/p>\n The Carrot Bundt Cake is 4 pounds and contains wheat, soy, milk, eggs and tree nuts.<\/p>\n \u201cThis issue was discovered during a routine facility inspection on September 24, 2025. Doan\u2019s Bakery took immediate corrective action, and updated labeling is now in place across all affected products.\u201d<\/p>\n No illness have been reported.<\/p>\n According to Doan\u2019s, the cake was created by Karen Doan, the founder of the bakery in 1984 that she now operates with her son, Eric. <\/p>\n The coconut cake sells for $109.95 and the carrot cake for $105.95.<\/p>\n \u201cDoan\u2019s Bakery has been featured on \u2018Jimmy Kimmel Live,\u2019 \u2018The Graham Norton Show,\u2019 \u2018Entertainment Tonight,\u2019 and \u2018The View.\u2019 Actress Cobie Smulders told Jimmy Fallon on the \u2018Tonight Show\u2019: \u2018Tom Cruise will send you a cake during the holidays.
