Tepper Sports & Entertainment plans to \u201cbuild an indoor music and events center at Bank of America Stadium on land near the stadium\u2019s North Gate.\u201d The 4,400-seat venue will be \u201choused in an 89,000-square-foot building that will occupy the lawn space outside the stadium now used for the Champions Village pregame hospitality tent area.\u201d Construction is \u201cexpected to begin 2027, with the venue opening in 2030.\u201d The building will \u201crequire an adjustment to the ground lease between the city and Tepper Sports,\u201d a consideration to be \u201cvoted on Oct. 13 by the full council.\u201d The music center, on a 2-acre site, will be \u201centirely funded by Tepper Sports, meaning no taxpayer money will pay for the project.\u201d No cost estimate for the music building has been disclosed.
