When Hilaria Baldwin<\/a> has a parenting question her husband Alec Baldwin<\/a> can’t answer, she can just call up her stepdaughter, Ireland Baldwin<\/a>!<\/p>\n The mom of seven, 41, will appear in a Tuesday, Oct. 7 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat<\/em> podcast and speaks about leaning on her 29-year-old stepdaughter for parenting advice. In a clip shared exclusively with PEOPLE ahead of the podcast, Hilaria explains that she often learns things from Ireland, who welcomed her baby daughter Holland in May 2023.<\/p>\n “Listen, I call her for advice. That was like the really interesting thing,” Hilaria began. “I don\u2019t know how you were when your first was born, but I was like, really\u2026didn\u2019t know what I was doing. After she accidentally got a drop of water in her daughter’s mouth, Hilaria freaked out and thought she had done something terribly wrong.<\/p>\n “I run with this naked baby out to go get an elevator and I\u2019m like hysterically crying. Like, my baby is not okay,” she remembered. “And then I came out of my panic and I look at her and she\u2019s just looking at me like all is well.”<\/p>\n “But that\u2019s the kind of new mom I was. Whereas Ireland was like, \u2018Boom, boom, I got this.\u2019 She\u2019s just so confident. And her instincts are so good, where I had to learn to trust myself a little bit,” explained Hilaria.<\/p>\n “In so many ways, I\u2019m like leaning to her like, \u2018What do you think about this?\u2019 Especially because we have kids the same age. So I learn from her, I like to think that she learns a little bit from me. And when we talk, we\u2019ll talk for like. I\u2019ll look at the time and it\u2019s been like two hours.”<\/p>\n Ireland’s daughter Holland, 2, is the same age as HIlaria’s daughter Ilaria, 2. Alongside Ilaria, Hilaria and Alec, who tied the knot in 2012, share daughters Mar\u00eda<\/a>, 4, and\u00a0Carmen<\/a>, 12, as well as four sons,\u00a0Eduardo<\/a>, 5,\u00a0Romeo<\/a>, 7,\u00a0Leonardo<\/a>, 9, and\u00a0Rafael<\/a>, 10. Alec shares\u00a0Ireland<\/a> with ex-wife\u00a0Kim Basinger<\/a>.<\/p>\n This past May, Hilaria appeared on an episode of\u00a0Today with Jenna and Friends<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and spoke with host\u00a0Jenna Bush Hager<\/a>\u00a0and guest co-host\u00a0Matt Rogers<\/a>\u00a0about her new memoir, her marriage\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n During the conversation, Hilaria opened up about\u00a0whether she wants to have more children<\/a>\u00a0and what it feels like to become a step-grandma. Hilaria also revealed what Holland calls her.<\/p>\n “I’m a grandma,” she said before Bush Hager asked her what the little one calls her. “Abuelita,” Hilaria revealed with a smile.<\/p>\n
