Bush<\/a> will ever appear on Today<\/a> With Jenna & Friends<\/em>, it\u2019s a matter of when, not if.<\/p>\n Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> has led the fourth hour of Today<\/em> with several famous guest hosts<\/a> since Hoda Kotb<\/a> exited the show in January. However, her father has yet to appear on the revamped series. On the show\u2019s Monday, October 6, episode<\/a>, Justin Sylvester<\/a> revealed that the former president came close to making his Jenna & Friends<\/em> debut earlier this year.<\/p>\n \u201cOne time, you were calling your dad because you wanted him to come on the show. You wanted him to be phoned into the show. And he goes, \u2018Let\u2019s get this party started!\u2019\u201d Sylvester shared. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018Wait, hold a minute. Hold a minute, George.\u2019 And he was like, \u2018Yeah, let\u2019s go! Let\u2019s get this party going!\u2019 And it was the cutest thing. I had never heard your dad ever before.\u201d<\/p>\n The live phone call didn\u2019t end up happening, but Bush Hager was happy about her father\u2019s willingness to participate. \u201cUsually, he says no,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n Though Bush has not appeared on Jenna & Friends<\/em>, he has joined Bush Hager on Today<\/em> a handful of times over the years. While filling in for Kotb on a February 2017 episode<\/a> of Today With Kathie Lee & Hoda<\/em>, Bush Hager called out her dad for not tuning in to the NBC morning show on a regular basis.<\/p>\n
