The Lackawanna County Commissioner Debate will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Pearn Auditorium inside Brennan Hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Both debates are being organized by the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/academics\/cas\/ceeps\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">University\u2019s Center for Ethics and Excellence in Public Service<\/a>. The center\u2019s director, Brian Snee, Ph.D., will be the debate moderator. Journalists from several local news organizations, including the Times-Tribune, Fox 56, WBRE, WNEP and WVIA, will serve on the panels.<\/p>\n<p>The debates, which are expected to last about 60 minutes, are open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served and subject to capacity limits.
