On Monday, Swift appeared on BBC Radio 2\u2019s \u201cThe Scott Mills Breakfast Show\u201d and discussed her new album \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl.\u201d During the interview host Scott Mills asked if the new project is her \u201clast.\u201d<\/p>\n

No,\u201d Swift replied with surprise, which was followed by Mills saying he had heard whispers from fans who believed \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d would be her final act as a singer-songwriter.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cA shockingly offensive thing to say,\u201d Swift said. \u201cIt\u2019s not why people get married, so they can quit their job \u2026 Music for me is \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Mills jumped back in to say that maybe fans were just \u201cpanicking.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI know they love to panic sometimes, but it\u2019s like I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,\u201d Swift shared of her fianc\u00e9 and NFL star Travis Kelce, adding that that\u2019s one of the qualities she loves most about him.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is so passionate about what he does, that me being passionate about what I do, it connects us,\u201d Swift explained. \u201cThere\u2019s no point in time where he\u2019s going to be like, \u2018I\u2019m really upset that you\u2019re still making music. The music thing that I signed up for that I knew you love, I thought you were going to stop doing that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Swift released \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d her 12th studio album, on Friday.
