On Sunday, October 5, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to her Instagram Story to share a video that she seemingly shot from her limousine in Paris while passing by the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides bridges. At one point, she panned to her feet on the seat in front of her.<\/p>\n

Social media users were quick to point out that the next bridge along the Seine River is the Pont de l\u2019Alma \u2014 where Diana tragically perished<\/a> in a car crash<\/a> in the Pont de l\u2019Alma tunnel in 1997, next to it.<\/p>\n

Fans took to X to share their thoughts on the video, with many feeling that it was inconsiderate to post.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe knows exactly what she\u2019s doing. Nothing Meghan does around Diana\u2019s legacy is ever accidental,\u201d one user commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cI honestly do NOT know how to process this,\u201d a second fan admitted. \u201cIt\u2019s not like she got a beautiful shot of the city. There was no reason why she had to post herself in the car at all. How can anyone NOT think this was deliberate?!\u201d<\/p>\n
