Barbara Evans<\/strong> \u2014 who became a household name for starring on Teen Mom 2<\/em> alongside daughter Jenelle Evans<\/strong> \u2014 recently suffered a stroke and was hospitalized for the sickness.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em><\/a> reported on Monday, October 8, that Barbara has left the medical center and is recuperating at home.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, the former TV personality fell ill at her residence in North Carolina, and Jenelle rushed home to be with her family and to be by her mother\u2019s side. The 33-year-old reality star has been living in Nevada for months.<\/p>\n

Jenelle\u2019s son Jace<\/strong>, 16, has been staying with the 72-year-old \u2014 however, he wasn\u2019t with Barbara when she became sick, according to the U.S. Sun<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun<\/em> that Jenelle\u2019s sister, Ashley<\/strong>, also went to North Carolina, but she has now vacated the state. They added that Jace has been taking care of Barbara as she recovers.<\/p>\n

Barbara appeared alongside her daughter on MTV\u2019s famed reality series 16 and Pregnant<\/em> in 2009. The two then made many appearances on the show\u2019s spin-off Teen Mom 2<\/em> from 2011 until 2019.<\/p>\n

The pair have had a rocky relationship over the years, as Barbara had custody over Jace from 2010 until 2023.<\/p>\n

Despite the living arrangement, Jace chose to stay with his grandmother.<\/p>\n
