Movie stars: They’re just like us! Because they also dream about other movie stars sometimes. In Esquire’s new October\/November 2025 cover story, a profile of one George Clooney<\/a>, the Ocean’s Eleven<\/em> star tells our own Ryan D’Agostino about a legitimately wild dream he had about\u2014wait for it\u2014Harrison Ford<\/a>.<\/p>\n As D’Agostino details, Clooney once had a dream about Ford hanging out with his wife, Amal Clooney, in a Jacuzzi that was also in the middle of their kitchen<\/a>. When Amal and Harrison Ford’s little party moves to their car, George remembers being relegated to the backseat like he was the third wheel. Amusingly, Clooney had that dream about a week before he actually ran into Ford at a mutual friend’s birthday party.<\/p>\n Said Clooney: “I\u2019d had this weird fucking dream where I came into the house, and there was a Jacuzzi in the middle of the kitchen, and Amal was in the Jacuzzi with<\/em> Harrison Ford.<\/em> And then they get out and I\u2019m like, What are you doing, Harrison? And he says, [grumbly Ford voice] Oh, you know.<\/em> And then they get in the car, and they sit in the front, so I had to sit in the back. Like I\u2019m the kid. And I\u2019m saying, This is my wife! And Amal\u2019s going, Oh, relax will you? And he\u2019s like, [grumble] Oh, just shut up.<\/em>“<\/p>\n The dream was fresh in Clooney’s mind when he later met Ford, this time for real, no Jacuzzis around. “That dream had happened, like, a week <\/em>before the party. I don\u2019t often dream about Harrison Ford. I said to him, I had a dream about you, motherfucker. I told him the dream, and he goes: [deep voice] This happens to me all the time.<\/em> In his grumpy, grumpy way. He just killed me. And, you know, to me he\u2019s Indiana Jones and Han Solo! I mean, come on<\/em>!”<\/p>\n Someone like Ford definitely gets stopped all the time, and most certainly been forced to hear about people’s bizarre dreams about him. But I like to imagine Harrison Ford is secretly a telepathic dreamer<\/a> (in like, a Dreamscape<\/a> <\/em>sort of way) who uses his celebrity status to travel in and out of dreams.<\/p>\n
