Tori Amos<\/a> is returning to the front lines. Her 18th studio album, \u201cIn Times of Dragons,\u201d<\/a> out in April 2026 via Universal\u2019s Fontana label, takes aim at what she describes as the \u201ccurrent abhorrent non accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the \u2018Dictator believing Lizard Demons\u2019 in their usurpation of America.\u201d The release will kick off the artist\u2019s largest U.K. and European tour in a decade.<\/p>\n A press release describes<\/a> the new record as a \u201cpowerful journey of resilience and awakening, where the pursuit of freedom meets forces that seek to control and silence.\u201d It\u2019s a clear nod to the Trump administration, which Amos has long criticized. \u201cWe\u2019re looking at an administration whereby there seems to be almost a gender apartheid happening, and where misogyny is common practice,\u201d she told<\/a> The Guardian in 2024.
