Country star Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill have been together for nearly three decades now, making them one of country music’s most enduring (and endearing) couples. In celebration of the couple’s 29th anniversary, McGraw shared a sweet and simple Instagram post reflecting on their long-lasting relationship.<\/p>\n
McGraw shared a simple, slightly blurry photo of the pair, which he captioned with full-throated praise for his wife and life partner.<\/p>\n
“29 years ago, on this day Oct 6 1996, I was on cloud 9!” he wrote. “I was marrying the girl of my dreams, she was everything, my complete soulmate! We have been through so much together, our girls growing up, me trying to grow up, and you, you, you, always there, always there for all of us when we fell, always you when we triumphed, always you. When we love, when we live, when we think of how to love, live and dream, always you. You are my girl, I love you with a fire that grows each passing year.”<\/p>\n
After wedding in 1996, Hill and McGraw raised three daughters together. Gracie, was born in 1997, Maggie in 1998, and Audrey in 2001.<\/p>\n
“It’s inspiring to me to watch them go out on their own and do the things they do,” McGraw told PEOPLE in 2021<\/a>. “We’ve raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women.
