(NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 Rush, the legendary Canadian rock band, is set to return to the stage next year.<\/p>\n

The band announced it will be reuniting for a 2026 summer tour<\/a>, \u201cFifty Something,\u201d which will be a \u201ccelebration of Rush\u2019s music, legacy, and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peart died from glioblastoma five years ago. In Peart\u2019s place will be Anika Nilles, a German composer and producer, who previously toured with Jeff Beck.<\/p>\n

And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we f***ing miss it, and that it\u2019s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music,\u201d Lee added.<\/p>\n

The tour will begin in Los Angeles and make stops in Mexico City, Fort Worth, Texas, Chicago, New York and Toronto before ending in Cleveland.<\/p>\n

In early 2025, the group released a greatest hits collection, \u201cRush 50.\u201d The album features the last songs the band played at their final concert 10 years ago.<\/p>\n
