\u201cLast Week Tonight\u201d host John Oliver on Sunday examined the loophole-ridden system<\/a> that allows sitting presidents to raise private funds for their own presidential library foundations while still in office.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Oliver snarkily decided that \u201cif you can\u2019t beat them, you should probably join them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

So, he unveiled his own donation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was a gigantic pair of bronze testicles inspired by a recording of President Lyndon B. Johnson ordering custom trousers with \u201cextra room where your nuts hang,\u201d that is now in Johnson\u2019s own presidential archive. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cAny presidential library is now welcome to take these balls as a symbol of the massive ego it takes to build one of these libraries in the first place,\u201d said Oliver, who spelled out, though, that he\u2019d \u201cexpect something in return.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cObviously, these testicles make the most sense in LBJ\u2019s library,\u201d Oliver said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cBut we\u2019re also open to negotiation with other foundations too,\u201d he added, before making an offer to Trump\u2019s future library: \u201cIf the Trump Foundation is so inclined, a full blanket pardon for me personally would do nicely.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
