The 58-year-old ultimately learned he would need a kidney transplant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Abel\u2019s two oldest daughters, Christina, 37, and Stephanie, 30, offered to donate their kidneys. Initially, he wasn\u2019t on board with the idea of one of his daughters becoming his donor.
