Jason George<\/strong> recently discussed the shocking deaths awaiting fans in Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/strong> Season 22<\/strong>. He opened up about the show\u2019s explosive premiere, his character Ben Warren\u2019s heroic arc, and the high-stakes fallout following last season\u2019s cliffhanger.<\/p>\n Grey\u2019s Anatomy star Jason George told Soaps.com<\/a> that viewers should \u201ckeep tissues handy\u201d for Thursday\u2019s Season 22 premiere, describing it as \u201cdeadly\u201d and adding, \u201cI think it\u2019s safe to say that not everybody makes it out.\u201d<\/p>\n His character, Dr. Ben Warren, was among the few outside Grey Sloan Memorial during the Season 21 explosion. The blast left the fate of several doctors, including his wife Dr. Miranda Bailey, uncertain. George confirmed that Ben survived the blast, saying, \u201cI didn\u2019t get blown up. That much I know.\u201d<\/p>\n He revealed that Ben was leaving the hospital before the blast and hoped the crisis would showcase his first-responder skills. \u201cMy hope is that the hospital having an explosive finale is going to give Ben a chance to show some of the skills that he\u2019s gained,\u201d George said.<\/p>\n The actor noted that the upcoming episode would feature Ben risking his life to save others, saying, \u201cIs it the smart thing to do? No. Is it what I\u2019m going to do? Yes.\u201d George further stated that Ben reacts instinctively, especially when Miranda is in danger. \u201cTo everybody else, she\u2019s Dr. Bailey. That\u2019s his Miranda. So Ben\u2019s going to kick in doors and do whatever he\u2019s got to do to find her,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n George described the premiere\u2019s table read as \u201ca whole other level of electric\u201d as the cast learned which characters survived.
