However, she found it \u201creally hard\u201d adjusting following her time on the comedy series. The 28-year-old stated, \u201cYou don\u2019t get a cushion when you fall,\u201d. Moreover, she expressed gratitude towards her family and friends for their support.<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cEven before the show, they were the ones that were a guiding light, and so then that\u2019s what I looked to after. And I feel like without that, I don\u2019t know where I would be one year out, to be honest,\u201d. On the other hand, Johnson claimed that SNL \u201cmad put the pressure on you.\u201d The 40-year-old noted, \u201cyou can\u2019t leave SNL and then go do the same things you was doing before.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cIt just put the pressure on you because everybody always like, \u2018Yo, what\u2019s next? What\u2019s next?\u201d The comedian exclaimed, \u201cSo you feel like you have to go do the next big thing.\u201d Johnson added she needed \u201cto understand the difference between, all right, cool, you did something really great. And now it\u2019s okay for you to just go through the motions and just no rush and figure out what\u2019s next for you. It\u2019s okay for you to figure that out.\u201d<\/p>\n She described the show as \u201ca different monster, a different beast,\u201d but found the experience worth it. Johnson concluded, \u201cI feel like I could go out in Hollywood and handle anything because I handled every piece of adversity that went on in that building.
