(KCTV) &#8211; The Kansas City Royals and Commerce Bank partnered with a goal of \u201cHelping Kids Take the Field<i>.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">The campaign collected more than 5,000 pieces of youth baseball and softball equipment to donate to non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Alex Gordon and Royals rookie pitcher Noah Cameron both helped the effort to get young athletes on the field.
