Tori Amos<\/a> has announced her new album \u2018In Times Of Dragons\u2019 and an accompanying UK and European tour for 2026.<\/p>\n The singer-songwriter\u2019s 18th studio album will be released in the spring of next year and will see her reckoning with the current state of politics and society in the US.<\/p>\n To go alongside the record\u2019s release, Amos will play an extensive tour in April and May 2026, her largest European tour in a decade that will take place in 17 countries. She will be joined by longtime collaborators Jon Evans (bass) and Ash Soan (drums) and will play music from the new album alongside highlights from her career.<\/p>\n Speaking about the album, Amos has said: \u201c\u2019In Times of Dragons\u2019 is a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the \u2018Dictator believing Lizard Demons\u2019 in their usurpation of America.\u201d<\/p>\n Amos kicks off in Sheffield\u2019s City Hall on April 8, followed by dates in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast and Dublin, before a huge show at London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall on April 21. From there she heads around mainland Europe, wrapping up at Vilnius\u2019 Compensa Hall on May 30.<\/p>\n The tour is described as the beginning of a worldwide tour and tickets for the shows are available for pre-sale with pre-orders of the album here<\/a>, while the general sale begins at 10am on Thursday \u2013 find yours here<\/a>.<\/p>\n APRIL 2026\u00a0<\/strong> Elsewhere, Amos was recently among over 1,000 artists to release a silent album in protest at planned changes to copyright AI laws<\/a> planned by the UK government. With contributions from the likes of Damon Albarn<\/a>,\u00a0Kate Bush<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Annie Lennox<\/a>, the album was called \u2018Is This What We Want?\u2019 and was completely silent, with the aim of drawing attention to the potential impact that AI could have on the music industry.<\/p>\n In 2023, Amos also released a version of Kendrick Lamar\u2019s \u2018Swimming Pools (Drank)\u2019<\/a> alongside the legendary producer Trevor Horn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
