So, of course, we had to dig up the footage \u2019cause <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/craig-melvin\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Craig [Melvin];elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Craig [Melvin]<\/a> didn\u2019t remember.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The show went on to air a clip of Dreyer\u2019s grandmother, Doris Milke, winning big on the game show. \u201cShe\u2019s won more merchandise than anyone ever has in all the years. A total of $72,769,\u201d former <em>The Price Is Right<\/em> host <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/bill-cullen\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Bill Cullen;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Bill Cullen<\/a> said in the footage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAw, I just miss her smile and her laugh,\u201d Dreyer said in reaction to the clip. \u201cI called her Gram. And, I mean, $70,000 back then is like $700,000 today. She\u2019s still one of the most winningest contestants on The Price is Right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As for what her grandmother won on <em>The Price is Right<\/em>, Dreyer shared, \u201cShe won a house in Florida. The series has aired on CBS since 1972.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Dreyer went on to explain that at the time her grandmother was on the game show, contestants would keep returning to continue their winning streak, like <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/show\/jeopardy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Jeopardy!;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Jeopardy!<\/a><\/em> \u201cEvery time you won, you would keep going back,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Though Milke won several prizes on <em>The Price Is Right<\/em>, Dreyer said her family no longer owns all of her winnings. \u201cThey did sell the house in Florida, but my brother has some of the furniture from hers,\u201d the meteorologist shared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Dreyer previously opened up about her grandmother\u2019s history on <em>The Price Is Right<\/em> on <em>Today<\/em> in July 2016. \u201cAfter six weeks of competing, Grandma Doris came home a winner with the prizes to prove it,\u201d she said in a prerecorded <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tBlfyQgpkpo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:segment;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">segment<\/a> of herself visiting the game show\u2019s set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In addition to chatting with host <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/drew-carey\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Drew Carey;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Drew Carey<\/a>, Dreyer got to step into her grandmother\u2019s shoes by becoming a contestant on the show. After her name was announced to \u201ccome on down,\u201d Dreyer accidentally ran up on stage rather than join her fellow contestants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Before leaving the set of the CBS series, Dreyer tried her luck on the Big Wheel. By a stroke of luck, she hit the $1 spot on her first try.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI swear, I have the video.
