Barbara Evans<\/strong> is on the road to recovery after reportedly suffering a stroke in North Carolina.<\/p>\n According to TMZ<\/span><\/a>, Jenelle Evans<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u2019 mom experienced the health scare last week and has since been discharged from the hospital. She is recovering at home and is expected to make a full recovery.<\/p>\n Jenelle, 33, has been able to fly back to North Carolina to see her mom and be with family. She wasn\u2019t able to fly home earlier to see Barbara because she had sinus surgery, TMZ reported.<\/p>\n According to The Ashley\u2019s Reality Roundup<\/span><\/a>, Jenelle\u2019s 16-year-old son, Jace, was by Barbara\u2019s side while she was hospitalized on Wednesday, October 1. (In August, Jace moved from Las Vegas<\/span><\/a> to North Carolina to stay with a relative who is presumed to be his grandmother.)<\/p>\n Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to Jenelle\u2019s team for comment.<\/p>\n Fans met Barbara when she appeared on Jenelle\u2019s episode of MTV\u2019s 16 and Pregnant<\/i> in 2009.<\/p>\n When Jenelle continued to appear on Teen Mom 2 <\/i>from 2011 to 2019, cameras often documented her unpredictable relationship with her mom.<\/p>\n One moment Teen Mom<\/i> viewers won\u2019t forget is when Jenelle chose not to invite Barbara to her September 2017 wedding to David Eason<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s been saying she\u2019s having her wedding, running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says? \u2018My mother Barbara is not invited,\u2019\u201d Barbara recalled to People<\/i><\/span><\/a> in July 2017. \u201cShe\u2019s not inviting me to her own wedding. It\u2019s very painful.\u201d<\/p>\n During a 2016 episode of Teen Mom 2<\/i>, Barbara called Eason, 37, \u201cthe worst boyfriend\u201d her daughter has ever had.<\/p>\n While Jenelle followed through with the wedding, she filed for separation<\/span><\/a> from Eason in March 2024 after six years of marriage. In July, the exes were declared legally divorced<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter a really long and draining process, my divorce from David is official,\u201d Jenelle told TMZ at the time. \u201cThis chapter has been heavy, but I\u2019m walking away from it with clarity, strength and so much love for my kids. My focus is on them and our future, and I\u2019m just thankful to finally have peace and a fresh start.\u201d<\/p>\n While there were many reasons that led to the split, Jenelle said one aspect was David\u2019s negative attitude.<\/p>\n \u201cHis attitude that he had, putting everyone in a bad mood all the time,\u201d she told Us <\/i>in June<\/span><\/a>. \u201cEveryone was walking on eggshells, and I\u2019m like, I don\u2019t have to live like this and I don\u2019t have to stay together just because we have kids.\u201d<\/p>\n This past summer, Jenelle shared an update on where she stands with her mom. According to the reality star, things have improved now that cameras aren\u2019t following their every move.<\/p>\n
