Are you brave enough to hit the play button? Several steaming platforms are serving up thrills, chills, and kills for the Halloween season, and we\u2019ve got a guide to the frightful offerings below. There\u2019s streaming content for all ages, so unless we\u2019re dead wrong, everyone will find something to spook and amuse them. (But if it\u2019s the cost of streaming subscriptions that\u2019s truly scary, there\u2019s Halloween content to be enjoyed on linear TV, too: Check out our guide to Freeform\u2019s 31 Nights of Halloween<\/a>.)<\/p>\n As of the time of this writing, Netflix hasn\u2019t detailed its Halloween plans, but its Netflix & Chills landing page<\/a> shows new movies and TV shows \u201cNow Screaming,\u201d including the originals Monster: The Ed Gein Story<\/a><\/em> and Haunted Hotel<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Netflix\u2019s Horror Without the Gore category includes a new episode of The Summer Hikaru Died<\/em>, while the Laugh and Scream selection boasts a new installment of Dan Da Dan<\/a><\/em>. Meanwhile, the streamer has slated the docuseries True Haunting<\/a><\/em> for release on October 7 and the baking competition Is It Cake? Halloween<\/em> for release the following day.<\/p>\n Soon to be one unified platform, Hulu<\/a> and Disney+<\/a> are spending this Halloween collaborating on the Disney+ Huluween collection (and Disney+ is even arranging its Halloween content by scariness level, from \u201cA Little Fear\u201d to \u201cCompletely Terrified\u201d).<\/p>\n The new Disney+ content includes the Marvel Animation series Marvel Zombies<\/em> (now streaming) and Halloween-themed episodes of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire<\/a><\/em> (October 15), Wizards Beyond Waverly Place<\/a><\/em> (October 8), Electric Bloom<\/em> (now streaming), and Kiff<\/a><\/em> (now streaming). And for the littler ones, the streamer is hosting themed episodes of Marvel\u2019s Spidey and his Amazing Friends<\/a><\/em>, Marvel\u2019s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends<\/em>, SuperKitties<\/em>, and the new stop-motion shorts Mickey & Minnie\u2019s Holiday Songs: Halloween<\/em>, all of which are now available.<\/p>\n Other highlights: Disney+ is now streaming all 36 of The Simpsons<\/em>\u2019 \u201cTreehouse of Horror\u201d specials, including this year\u2019s. The streamer will also have Halloween-themed episodes of Ghosts<\/a><\/em> and Elsbeth<\/a><\/em> (both on October 30) and Tracker<\/a><\/em> (on November 2).<\/p>\n The Peak Screaming categories include:<\/p>\n Roku<\/a>\u2019s Stream & Scream collection also features themed categories, including Family Fright Delights, Spooktacular Spectacles, Frightful Fun, and Ghost & Ghouls. The collection will also spotlight Roku\u2019s most-searched horror films from last year, Halloween costume inspiration based on fan-fave movie and TV characters from the past year, and special Halloween-themed daily trivia questions.
