Amal Clooney<\/a> is ushering in autumn with the romantic, wispy hairdo in the cozy toasted-almond hue that we\u2019re all about to covet. <\/p>\n

Hair stylist Dimitris Giannetos shared some images and short clips of Amal\u2019s new cut and color on Instagram<\/a>, calling the dark, side-parted style, with curved-in ends and warm highlights, a \u201cbubble blowout.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also spoke to Vogue<\/a> <\/em>about the chop: \u201cI cut off between six and eight inches of hair,\u201d he said. \u201cAmal has never had a haircut like this before.\u201d

The human rights barrister debuted the new power cut today, as she prepared to make a big announcement about her and husband George Clooney\u2019s Clooney Foundation for Justice. <\/p>\n

She showed off the new hair while in a navy tea dress with short puff sleeves and sophisticated round buttons running down the middle.<\/p>\n

Amal\u2019s hair transformation came just a few days after she stepped out in her signature long mermaid waves to attend the Albie Awards in London with George. Then, the mom of two was fantastic in a draped chocolate gown<\/a> from Versace with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a long train. She matched the dress with a pair of brown, mesh peep-toe heels, and accessorized with gold chandelier earrings, a golden clutch, and shimmering bronze makeup. Her golden-brown hair, styled down in glamorous waves, perfectly complemented her ensemble.<\/p>\n

Amal also flaunted her long hair days earlier, when she slipped into a rouge, flower-covered minidress<\/a> to support George at the New York Film Festival.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll miss the mermaid waves, but this new chop is the picture of elegance, like Amal herself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
