Jennifer Lopez<\/strong> and Ben Affleck<\/strong> recently reunited in the Big Apple for a movie premiere.<\/p>\n

On Monday, October 6, Lopez, 56, and Affleck, 53, hit the red carpet in New York City for their film, Kiss of a Spider Woman<\/em>, which the \u201cWaiting for Tonight\u201d singer starred in and the Oscar winner produced.<\/p>\n

As Lopez was talking to Access Hollywood,<\/em><\/a> she spotted the Good Will Hunting<\/em> actor \u2014 whom she was married to from 2021 to 2024 \u2014 behind her, leading to an awkward interaction that was caught on camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re here!\u201d Lopez laughed when she saw Affleck.<\/p>\n

\u201cPicture?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I\u2019ll get in the picture right now,\u201d she responded before finishing up her interview and then joining him for photos.<\/p>\n

Affleck later gushed about his ex-wife to Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> while on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t dream of not being here. This is an incredible story,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cThis is the kind of role I think that Jennifer has wanted to play her whole career, and she\u2019s fabulous in the movie. I\u2019m really excited for people to get a chance to see Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em> because she\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Globe<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, the Monster in Law<\/em> actress appeared on Today<\/em> on Monday, October 6, and was asked by host Craig Melvin<\/strong> what it was like working with Affleck on this project as they were finalizing their divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cThings happen, you have to keep going. But it\u2019s funny, the movie is about escapism. It\u2019s about how movies and art save us in the hardest times of our lives,\u201d Lopez explained. \u201cDoing this project was such a dream come true for me that it really got me through to kind of survive a moment that was difficult in my personal life as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
