NLE Choppa<\/a> and his mother, Angela Potts, have responded to accusations from his ex-girlfriends, Marisa Da\u2019Nae and Mariah, that the rapper has been neglecting his children.<\/p>\n In a post shared on his Instagram account, Choppa shared a video of himself brushing his five-year-old daughter Clover\u2019s hair \u2014 a post that seemed to be addressed at claims made last week by the child’s mother, Mariah.<\/p>\n \u201cNe\u2022Glect: (Verb) Fail To Care For Properly. The two have been engaged in a custody battle since July after he filed a petition to gain primary custody of ChoZen. In her filing responding to his, she claimed that he had \u201cnot been a consistent parent\u201d and that he subjected her to \u201cemotional and physical abuse throughout their relationship and specifically throughout her pregnancy.”<\/p>\n On social media, she accused him of taking him to court over a child \u201che doesn\u2019t even call,\u201d and that the situation was making her angry.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah trying to take me to court for a child he barely see,\u201d she wrote. \u201cA child he had fasting at 1 year old.
