Taylor Kitsch<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about his move.<\/p>\n The 43-year-old Friday Night Lights <\/em>actor addressed moving to Bozeman, Montana in 2021 after previously living in Austin, Texas for over a decade and a half.<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, it\u2019s like, I love wildlife photography and I miss the mountains,\u201d he said to People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI miss the seasons. And I built my dream home in Austin and then ended up obviously selling it and just simplifying everything in my life,\u201d he went on to say.<\/p>\n \u201cIt brings a lot more peace being in the wild, in the wilderness, a lot more quiet, and it reminds me of home a lot more,\u201d the Canadian actor went on to explain.<\/p>\n After working on more \u201cintense\u201d projects like the 2023\u2032s Painkiller<\/em> and his new Netflix Western, American Primeval<\/em>, Taylor<\/strong> now enjoys getting into his \u201cadventure van\u201d and driving to the backcountry to take photos and go fly fishing.<\/p>\n \u201cYou need a breath and there\u2019s no better place for me to take that breath,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n However, he admitted there\u2019s one thing he misses about Austin: \u201cI was right on Lake Austin, so I miss that. Being on the lake and being able to go wake surfing and going for sunset rides with your buddies and stuff. But I mean, that\u2019s probably one of the only things I miss about\u2026I don\u2019t miss the heat.\u201d<\/p>\n He\u2019s now working on a nature retreat to serve the sober community, as well as a place for kids and veterans to find peace, inspired by his sister Shelby Kitsch-Best<\/strong>\u2018s sobriety journey.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t even know sober escapes existed until I had the crash course with my sis. I was like, \u2018Man, it sounds incredible to offer people a chance to reconnect in nature and slow things down,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cYou want to go hike, fish, hang out, do nothing, write, read, anything?
