Denise Richards<\/strong> got emotional as she detailed her estranged husband Aaron Phypers<\/strong>\u2019 alleged abuse<\/a> in an L.A. courtroom on Monday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 7.<\/p>\n Phypers \u201cwould often threaten to throw me through the windows and off [hotel] balconies,\u201d the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum, 54, tearfully claimed on her first day of testimony at a hearing regarding the temporary restraining order<\/a> she filed against Phypers, 53, in July, per People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s almost killed me so many damn times,\u201d the Wild Things<\/em> star added, accusing him of multiple alleged violent incidents, several of which came after he looked through the messages<\/a> on her phone.<\/p>\n But the day Richards knew their nearly seven-year marriage to the actor was \u201cover,\u201d she testified, was when he hit her following cosmetic surgery in May, Fox News<\/em><\/a> reported.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s been physical abuse, but It kept getting worse and worse,\u201d the Dancing with the Stars<\/em> alum claimed. \u201cI felt broken and defeated and so alone and just so vulnerable because I just had an extensive surgery. Him knowing the body and wellness and working on people \u2026 and to do that to your wife?\u201d<\/p>\n According to People<\/em>, Richards alleged in her October 7 testimony that Phypers caused her to have three concussions. On the stand, she said one was after giving her a black eye in January 2022, and the second was after slamming her into a concrete wall that same year.<\/p>\n She suffered a third concussion, she testified, when she woke up to find him \u201csqueezing\u201d her head at a Chicago hotel in April, 2025. It felt, she said, \u201clike he was crushing my skull.\u201d<\/p>\n When she began suffering from nausea and \u201cvery painful\u201d headaches, her then-husband \u201cscanned\u201d her using equipment at his holistic healing center in Malibu \u2014 \u201cand it showed up that I had a concussion.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Richards admitted that she was not diagnosed by a medical doctor and did not tell authorities, People<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n Phypers, who has denied abusing Richards, filed for divorce<\/a> in July, accusing<\/a> Richards of pill-popping and infidelity.
