Celebrity Traitors<\/a> host Claudia Winkleman<\/a> said that she was \u201cworried sick\u201d after almost ruining series one of the hit BBC show<\/a>.<\/p>\n A special celebrity spin-off of the twist-filled, backstabbing reality show debuts on Wednesday with an all-star cast<\/a> including Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Claire Balding and Jonathan Ross amongst the many famous faces involved.<\/p>\n Traitors fans will be more than familiar with its tense and unique atmosphere, where even the slightest glance or movement can be viewed as a form of deception.<\/p>\n It\u2019s nerve wracking for the contestants but as Winkleman revealed during a special Q & A screening of the new show, the tension can also get the better of her.<\/p>\n Speaking to journalist Scott Bryan, Winkleman said that is is \u201cincredibly tense\u201d when selecting who the traitors will be while circuling the show\u2019s iconic roundtable.<\/p>\n \u201cThe mood automatically changes the minute you walk into that room and I’m so nervous that anybody might hear me,\u201d she said before revealing a potentially devastating mistake she almost made during the show\u2019s debut.<\/p>\n Claudia Winkleman at the launch of BBC\u2019s Celebrity Traitors, at the Electric Cinema in London (Ian West\/PA)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIn series one, Wilf was wearing a jacket and I was so worried it was going to make a noise that I was almost sick, which wouldn’t have worked on any level,\u201d she joked. \u201cAnd I know that would have ruined the entire game. So I try to do my best. You can tell how nervous I am by just how much white lipstick I’m wearing and how orange I am.\u201d<\/p>\n Wilfred “Wilf” Webster was a traitor in the very first season of the reality show and made it all the way to the final episode before being banished by his fellow contestants.<\/p>\n In possibly the most dramatic ending to the series so far, Wilf revealed that he was the final traitor<\/a> in the game meaning that the three surviving contestans Aaron, Hannah and Meryl were joint winners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
