Taylor Swift<\/a> said she isn\u2019t performing during next year\u2019s Super Bowl because she is \u201clocked in\u201d on her fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce, and his well-being while watching his games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field,\u201d Swift said on Monday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.\u201d \u201cLike that is violent chess. That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She continued: \u201cCan you imagine if he\u2019s out there every single week putting his life on the line doing this very dangerous, very high pressure, high intensity sport, and I\u2019m like, \u2018I wonder what my choreo should be?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour, the highest grossing tour of all time, fans immediately began speculating the next logical career step would be the halftime performance at the Super Bowl, especially because Kelce and the Chiefs have played in the last three Super Bowls. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift explained to Fallon that not performing at the Super Bowl has nothing to do with Kelce because he would love for her to do it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The NFL announced last month that Bad Bunny will be the halftime performer<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift has been on a media tour promoting her latest album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d which came out last week. During her Monday night appearance, she showed off her engagement ring and explained that while she was recording her episode of Kelce\u2019s \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast, Kelce was having their backyard transformed to a luscious garden for the site of the engagement. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Swift announced her engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in August, sharing photos on Instagram with the caption, \u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Since the announcement, some fans have been concerned that Swift would not return to music after her wedding. She shot down that idea during her Monday interview on BBC Radio 2, calling it \u201cshockingly offensive.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,\u201d Swift said. \u201cThat\u2019s the coolest thing about Trav is that he is so passionate about what he does, that me being passionate about what I do \u2015 it connects us. There\u2019s no point in time where he\u2019s going to be like, \u2018I\u2019m really upset that you\u2019re still making music.
