Though Cracker Jack has long since passed in Parton’s song, she still looks back on the many beautiful memories they had together, from her rescuing Cracker Jack and fattening up the once-skinny stray into a healthy pup to the many days they spent playing in the fields and walking to school together.<\/p>\n Though “See You Again<\/a>” was written as a tribute to the late Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker, its central message is no less poignant to those mourning the loss of a four-legged friend, especially in its chorus hook. Life can feel long and dreary without your best buddy there by your side, but memories never die, and goodbyes don’t have to be forever. As Charlie Puth sings, “I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again.”<\/p>\n Like “Cracker Jack” and “Old King,” “Maggie’s Song” is a heartfelt country tribute to a star’s special dog. Maggie was a “fuzzy black pup” that Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane found abandoned in a shopping cart. The couple rescued Maggie that day, and for the rest of her life, Maggie was embraced and loved by the whole Stapleton family.
