Freida Parton has had to speak out after posting a health update about her sister Dolly Parton, which worried fans, following her recent cancellation of shows.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Taking to social media, Freida posted that she had been “up all night praying” for her sister, who had reportedly been unwell.<\/p>\n This comes as Dolly<\/a> has had to miss numerous events while she battles an unknown health condition. As well as pulling out of events in September, the singer has had to postpone her Las Vegas<\/a> residency.<\/p>\n And whilst she has confirmed she isn’t retiring, Dolly did admit she needs to “slow down” and pulled out of the Governors Awards.<\/a><\/p>\n On October 7, Freida shared a post to social media which read, “Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn\u2019t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.”<\/p>\n Ending her post with a heart emoji, she concluded, “She\u2019s strong, she\u2019s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she\u2019s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Naturally, fans went into a panic, with one writing, “Oh, no. Geez, we JUST lost Jane Goodall. Hopefully, Dolly makes a full recovery,” whilst another added, “Nooo! I can\u2019t take it. Not Dolly. Noooo! Prayers up for this goddess!”<\/p>\n However, Freida took to social media later in the day to reassure fans, saying she “didn’t mean to scare anyone.”<\/p>\n “I want to clear something up,” the 68-year-old penned. “I didn\u2019t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers for Dolly.”<\/p>\n Freida then clarified that Dolly has “been a little under the weather, and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer.
