Channing Tatum<\/span><\/strong> has addressed long-standing rumors about his past with reality star Jax Taylor<\/strong>. The conversation centers on Taylor\u2019s repeated claims that the two were once roommates during their early modeling days in New York.<\/p>\n Channing Tatum addressed Jax Taylor\u2019s longtime claim that they were once roommates.<\/strong><\/p>\n During an Oct. 6 appearance on SiriusXM\u2019s Andy Cohen Live<\/a>, The Blink Twice actor, 45, responded to Taylor\u2019s repeated story, which dates back to 2013, about the two living together in a New York model apartment in the early 2000s. \u201cAbsolutely not,\u201d Tatum said. \u201cI don\u2019t think I ever roommated with him.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor explained that during his early career, he lived with several models but did not recall Taylor being among them. \u201cThey\u2019ll throw you in a model house that has just like a bed,\u201d Tatum said. \u201cI got kicked out of my first model house. I got in a fight with one of the guys.\u201d Taylor, 46, has not yet responded to Tatum\u2019s version of events.<\/p>\n Taylor originally shared the story on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2013 and repeated it in a 2023 Rolling Stone interview<\/a>. He claimed the two met when he moved from Miami to New York in 2002 after signing with Ford Models. \u201cThose agencies had apartments for models that were coming into town. They\u2019re basically like dorm rooms with bunk beds,\u201d he said. \u201cChanning was one of six guys in our room.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Taylor, Tatum \u201cgot famous real quick\u201d after booking a Mountain Dew commercial that launched his on-camera career.
