KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) \u2014 On Wednesday, after worries about her health, Dolly Parton posted a video letting fans know that she is okay.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Dolly Parton\u2019s sister, Freida, asked for prayers<\/a>, saying Dolly \u201chasn\u2019t been feeling her best,\u201d in a post that was shared around 21,000 times. Around a week earlier, the country music singer postponed her Las Vegas tour due to \u201chealth challenges<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u20189-1-1\u2019 spinoff episode one of the largest productions to be filmed in Knoxville <\/a><\/p>\n On Wednesday afternoon, Dolly posted a video on X saying that she was okay. She captioned it, \u201cI ain\u2019t dead yet!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI know lately everybody thinks that I am sicker than I am,\u201d Dolly said. \u201cI wanted to put everybody\u2019s mind at ease, those of you that seemed to be real concerned \u2014 which I appreciate, and I appreciate your prayers, because I\u2019m a person of faith.\u201d<\/p>\n She explained that she had \u201csome problems\u201d and didn\u2019t take care of herself well after her husband\u2019s death<\/a>. Parton said her doctor encouraged her to take a few treatments, causing her to reschedule some appearances and stay close to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Still, she emphasized that it was \u201cnothing major.\u201d<\/p>\n \u2018Dancing with the Stars: Live!\u2019 coming to Knoxville <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI wanted you to know that I\u2019m not dying,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not ready to die yet. I don\u2019t think God is through with me, and I ain\u2019t done working. So, I love you for caring and keep praying for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
