Aubrey Plaza<\/strong> shared an inspirational message while discussing her new children\u2019s book on the Today<\/em><\/a> show on Wednesday, October 8.<\/p>\n

Luna and the Witch Throw a Halloween Party<\/em>, which was inspired by and dedicated to her grandmother, who \u201ctaught me from a very young age that life is a party,\u201d the White Lotu<\/em>s actress, 41, told host Savannah Guthrie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd [that] no matter what happens, we have to have fun and move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

In August, Plaza described her grief<\/a> over losing her estranged husband, Jeff Baena<\/strong>, who died by suicide<\/a> in January at age 47, as \u201ca giant ocean of just awfulness,\u201d former costar Amy Poehler<\/strong>\u2019s Good Hang<\/em> podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, Plaza and the director, who married in 2021, had separated quietly last fall, but were still in contact. She told police they had texted just hours before Baena was found dead in his L.A. home January 3.<\/p>\n
