Waves are about to be made.<\/p>\n
George Clooney revealed that \u201cOcean\u2019s Eleven\u201d\u00a0stars<\/a>\u00a0Julia Roberts,\u00a0Brad Pitt,\u00a0Matt Damon\u00a0and\u00a0Don Cheadle\u00a0are ready to return to the beloved heist movie franchise. <\/p>\n \u201cWe just got the budget approved at Warner Bros. and we\u2019re trying to set up,\u201d the actor, 64, told\u00a0E! News<\/a> last week. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just scheduling, so it\u2019s just setting a start date for us,\u201d Clooney added, before explaining that \u201cOcean\u2019s 14\u2033 will \u201cprobably start in about nine or 10 months, shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n The Post reached out to Warner Bros. for comment.<\/p>\n The film was a 2001 blockbuster remake of the original 1960 movie starring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin.<\/p>\n In 2004, \u201cOcean\u2019s 12\u201d premiered, also starring Vincent Cassel and Catherine Zeta-Jones. <\/p>\n \u201cThirteen\u201d hit theaters in 2007, and brought on Ellen Barkin and Al Pacino, while spin-off \u201cOcean\u2019s Eight\u201d premiered in 2018 and featured Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, and Rihanna, among other A-listers.<\/p>\n All projects were directed by Steven Soderbergh.<\/p>\n The first \u201cOcean\u2019s\u201d film grossed nearly $451 million at the box office. <\/p>\n In the series, Clooney portrays mastermind thief Danny Ocean, with Roberts, 57, starring as his ex-wife Tess.<\/p>\n When E! News asked about reuniting with Pitt, 61, and his other co-stars, Clooney shared, \u201cYeah, Brad, Matt and Don and Julia. I had dinner last night with Julia. They\u2019re all still really dear friends. And so, the chance to work together would be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n There have also been reports that an\u00a0\u201cOcean\u2019s\u201d prequel film\u00a0is in development<\/a>. The plot is said to focus on Danny\u2019s parents played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. <\/p>\n \u201cYeah! Margot Robbie is my mother? I\u2019ve always thought that,\u201d the \u201cDescendents\u201d star\u00a0said to People<\/a>. \u201cRyan Gosling is my father. Now when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t really say much,\u201d said producer Josey McNamara. \u201cBut I think we\u2019re just trying to do right by the franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n McNamara added that he\u2019s \u201cexcited for people to experience it when it\u2019s ready.\u201d<\/p>\n That same year, Clooney teased the upcoming \u201cOcean\u2019s\u201d movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a really good script for another\u00a0\u2018Ocean\u2019s\u2019\u00a0now, so we may end up doing another one,\u201d he told\u00a0Uproxx<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s actually a great script,\u201d Clooney gushed.<\/p>\n The \u201cTicket to Paradise\u201d alum, meanwhile, lives his private life mainly out of Hollywood<\/a>.<\/p>\n After leaving Los Angeles for Europe, Clooney, his wife and twins recently relocated to New York City so the actor could\u00a0star in the Broadway adaptation<\/a>\u00a0of his 2005 film, \u201cGood Night, and Good Luck.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey love being here. I mean, come on, how do you not love this? It\u2019s New York City,\u201d Clooney gushed at the time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
