Dolly Parton<\/a> has a clear message for America. \u201cI ain\u2019t dead yet.\u201d<\/p>\n Following rumors regarding the current status of her health, Parton took to social media on Wednesday, Oct. 8, to reassure fans that \u201cshe\u2019s OK\u201d and has \u201cnothing major\u201d wrong.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, today\u2019s Oct. 8 and obviously I\u2019m here doing some commercials for the Grand Ol\u2019 Opry, which is kind of why I\u2019m dressed like an old country and western girl,\u201d Parton said in a video while wearing black pants and a red top with black fringe. <\/p>\n \u201cBut before I got started, I wanted to say, I know lately everybody thinks that I am sicker than I am,\u201d she continued before asking, \u201cDo I look sick to you? I\u2019m working hard here!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnyway, I wanted to put everybody\u2019s mind at ease, those of you that seem to be real concerned, which I appreciate and I appreciate your prayers,\u201d she went on.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I want you to know that I\u2019m OK,\u201d Parton said, noting that she did \u201chave some problems,\u201d as a result of not taking care of herself at the end of her husband Carl Dean<\/a>\u2019s life and afterwards. Dean died in March at the age of 82.<\/p>\n \u201cI let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n Parton said there was \u201cnothing major\u201d wrong with her health but that she needed to cancel upcoming performances to be closer to her Nashville home and to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she is receiving \u201ca few treatments here and there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut I wanted you to know that I\u2019m not dying,\u201d said Parton. <\/p>\n The singer noted that there were a lot of rumors circulating about her and she had seen an AI-generated image of Reba McIntire at her death bed where Parton noted that \u201cwe both looked like we need to be buried.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut I figured if you heard it from me, you\u2019d know that I was OK,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not ready to die yet and I don\u2019t think God is through with me and I ain\u2019t done working. So I love you for caring and keep praying for me,\u201d Parton said as she ended her video.<\/p>\n Concerns about Patron\u2019s health went into overdrive on Tuesday after Parton\u2019s younger sister, Fredia, asked fans to pray for the \u201c9 to 5\u2033 singer who “hasn\u2019t been feeling her best lately.\u201d<\/p>\n After Freida shared that message, she followed up with fans hours later, claiming that she wasn\u2019t trying to worry her sister\u2019s fanbase. “I want to clear something up.
