As Offset<\/a> tells it, Saweetie<\/a> had nothing to do with past issues between him and Quavo<\/a>.<\/p>\n For roughly five years, it’s been rumored that the “My Type”<\/a> artist had an affair <\/a>with Offset, which caused him to fall out with his former Migos<\/a> group mate, Quavo. But on the Tuesday (October 7) episode of podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer<\/em><\/a>, Offset denied the accusations, claiming that it was for other reasons that his relationship with Quavo was strained. The rappers have since reconciled<\/a> over the past year following the 2022 murder of Takeoff<\/a>, also of Migos.<\/p>\n Around the 40-minute mark of the video below, while Offset was discussing the themes of his new music, Palmer abruptly asked if there was truth to the rumors about him and Saweetie.<\/p>\n “No, man. It was a rumor, man. I think people was trying to tear my situation down in that situation,” he continued.<\/p>\n After agreeing that \u201cthe industry\u201d was potentially plotting on Offset and Quavo, he added, “We men, so we don’t play those games.”<\/p>\n “We don’t even know how to do that. And so it was just like\u2013that was a weird thing, though. That was kind of crazy,” Offset said.<\/p>\n Over the years, Cardi<\/a>, who is separated from Offset, and Saweetie have blasted trolls<\/a> and podcast hosts<\/a> for regurgitating the rumor.
