Offset<\/a> says that he \u201cmade a lot of mistakes\u201d in his marriage to Cardi B.<\/a><\/p>\n In an appearance on the Baby, This is Keke Palmer <\/em>podcast, Set and the titular host had a candid discussion about the downsides of him being in a relationship with a fellow “superstar.”<\/p>\n \u201cI was definitely not perfect,\u201d he said around the 33-minute mark. \u201cI made a lot of mistakes. I did a lot of wrong, and it\u2019s always on the front screen, so it was hard to move on from it.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked by Palmer what he would have done differently in the relationship, Offset mentioned one thing in particular.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI should have respected her way more,\u201d he said of Cardi. \u201cI made bad decisions as a man, stepping out,\u00a0and I gotta take that on the chin.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was being selfish, and I can say that as a man,\u201d he added. \u201cI wish there wasn\u2019t so much interest in our stuff going on. I’ve done got out of pocket a couple of times because it feels like you\u2019re getting bullied.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview<\/a>, Offset addressed the rumor that he slept with Saweetie<\/a> while she was dating Quavo<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, it was rumored, man,\u201d he said. \u201cI feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think people were trying to tear down my situation and their situation,\u201d Offset speculated. \u201cWe\u2019re men, we don\u2019t play those games.\u201d<\/p>\n Offset\u2019s comments about his marriage to Cardi come days after she spoke about the mental impact<\/a> of their relationship\u2019s downfall on the On Purpose <\/em>podcast.<\/p>\n \u201cLast year, I was planning to have an album. I was planning to put out an album, but I couldn’t focus,” she said. “I fell in the deepest depression that I had ever had. And with that depression, I couldn’t function.”<\/p>\n “And when I talk about function, it’s not even like, oh, just working. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t do nothing. So that just halted everything that I had,” she added.<\/p>\n “I felt the love dying from my end, from his end,” Cardi admitted. “I was very lonely because I [chose] to be lonely. I was saying, like, \u2018You know what? I can’t go through this anymore. I have to put a stop to it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n “But when I said I was going to put a stop to it…because you can say you’re going to put a stop to it, and you could; you could go a month without being around somebody,\u201d she concluded. \u201cBut it’s not when you say so.
