TV multi-mom Kate Gosselin<\/strong> has found love again after years of being single, but the relationship doesn\u2019t stand much hope of lasting as she\u2019s still scarred by her divorce from ex-husband Jon<\/strong>, sources tell Globe<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When asked on a TikTok Q&A<\/a> if she was dating, the Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em> alum, 50, revealed, \u201cFinally, yes! I [have been] dating somebody for the past \u2026 year? A little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months? I\u2019m super, super happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

It turns out the \u201cnew\u201d guy isn\u2019t so new! He\u2019s Steve Neild<\/strong>, 50, her former bodyguard who was initially hired in 2008, shortly before Kate split from Jon in 2009, according to Page Six<\/em><\/a>. At the time, they were rumored to be having a romance, which Kate denied, calling allegations of an affair \u201cdisgusting\u201d and \u201cunthinkable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate was granted full custody of the \u201cplus eight\u201d \u2014 twins Mady<\/strong> and Cara<\/strong>, now 24, and sextuplets Alexis<\/strong>, Hannah<\/strong>, Aaden<\/strong>, Collin<\/strong>, Leah<\/strong> and Joel<\/strong>, now 21. But after Kate sent Collin away to a mental health facility for his \u201cbehavioral issues\u201d in 2016, Jon was granted custody of Collin and Hannah in 2018. Collin claimed his mother was abusive, per Page Six<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

As readers know, the former reality star had to go back to her nursing career amid a financial crisis.<\/p>\n

\u201cKate gets by on an hourly wage, but she\u2019s pleased there\u2019s a guy in her life who can share the bills with her,\u201d says the insider. \u201cThey\u2019re living together under her roof and she\u2019s even talking marriage. This is the first meaningful relationship she\u2019s had since her divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Steve knows she comes with a lot of baggage \u2014 for one thing, at least one of her children wants nothing to do with her.<\/p>\n
