Justin Baldoni’s legal team has been officially allowed to access text messages between Blake Lively<\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/a> that are relevant to Blake’s experience on the set of It Ends With Us<\/em>. As seen in official court documents<\/a> issued by Judge Lewis Liman, and as reported by Us Weekly<\/em>,<\/a> the judge has ruled that, despite the validity of Blake’s objections that accessing these text messages would only serve to perpetuate a splashy public narrative for Justin’s side, said texts would also provide valuable information relevant to the case.<\/p>\n

“Given that Lively has represented that Swift had knowledge of complaints or discussions about the working environment on the film, among other issues, the requests for messages with Swift regarding the film and this action are reasonably tailored to discover information that would prove or disprove Lively\u2019s harassment and retaliation claims,” Judge Liman wrote.<\/p>\n
